How do I get a remote job with no experience?
Many people try for years to land a work from home job. It doesn’t have to be this way. If you are good at what you do, chances are you are already showing off that part of your skills to potential employers. So what is missing? Why don’t you get “the call” after an interview?
It’s likely that the employer didn’t hear what they were listening for: knowledge or experience of working from home. The best remote workforce employers are not just looking for someone who can do the job they have an opening for (programming, accounting, project management, sales, etc) they are looking for people who can do those jobs sitting hundreds or thousands of miles away with little supervision.
The first step is to learn everything you can about working from home: the benefits, the pitfalls, the organizational needs, the strategies, what causes people to go back to the office, etc.
It goes without yelling it too loudly that much of that information is here on this website. There are also plenty of blogs and websites run by people who really know what keeps work at home employees productive and happy that are just a simple Google search away. I am also launching a webinar shortly on the topic of landing the best work from home jobs without any previous experience. Get on the alert list so you don’t miss it.
By immersing yourself in this information, you become skilled at talking the talk that remote employers want to hear. You may even come across as more of an authority on the subject than they are before you even work a day at home.
Don’t forget about the upcoming webinar series on landing the best work from home jobs without any previous experience. Add your email below to receive an alert message before the next webinar fills up.
